AMEK Engineering is a national building services provider delivering exceptional HVAC&R, Electrical, Fire, Engineering, Automation & Controls, Life Safety and Advisory Services nation-wide.

Due to continued growth across our operations, we are seeking an enthusiastic, eager, and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer to join our Belmont team on a part-time basis.

THE ROLE

• Reviewing field service work orders and job notes to generate and issue timely, accurate invoices.

• Matching customer Purchase Orders (POs) and service reports to billing requirements

• Monitoring aged receivables and actively following up on outstanding accounts via phone and email

• Handling customer queries and resolving billing discrepancies politely and efficiently

• Assisting with month-end accounts receivable reconciliations and reporting.

• Any other duties as required

• Strong Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and invoice verification.

• AR Expertise: A solid understanding of core accounting principles and end-to-end AR processes.

• Great Communication Skills: Excellent customer service abilities with a firm yet polite approach to debt collection.

• Resilience & Autonomy: The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and handle high-volume periods under pressure.

• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Xero, Hubdoc and MS Suite (Excel is a must)
