About the role

This role is responsible for:

• Operating as a key leader within Landgate, you will lead the Land Titles and Customer Reform Branch, providing expert advice and guidance on the State and National regulatory framework governing property transactions in Western Australia.

• Overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of the National Electronic Conveyancing System, while ensuring the integrity, assurance and enforcement of Western Australia's land title registration system. This includes leading:

1. development of policy and practice for land dealings and lodged surveys at both state and national levels
2. projects that change processes and systems at Landgate.

• Championing the customer experience across Landgate by driving service excellence, shaping technical capability and delivering training and professional development programs for employees, customers and industry stakeholders.

• Working collaboratively across government and industry, you will lead strategic business initiatives, represent Titling Services on major Landgate projects, and influence state and national forums. In doing so, you will help shape the future of electronic conveyancing and land title registration, ensuring Landgate's interests are effectively represented in legislative, policy and system reforms.

This is a highly influential leadership role that combines regulatory expertise, strategic thinking, customer focus and stakeholder engagement to deliver outcomes that support Western Australia's property market and land administration system.

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing and implementing policy frameworks, procedures and guidance materials in a complex regulatory or operational environment.
• Extensive experience leading expert teams to achieve strategic outcomes and operational targets.
• Demonstrated change management and process improvement experience.
• Proven ability to establish and manage strategic stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes across complex environments, and negotiate solutions that support organisational priorities.

While not essential, it’s desirable if you can demonstrate:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in Land Titling or Land Administration.
