About the Role
We're looking for a Trade Assistant to join our mechanical maintenance team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role supporting qualified tradespeople across fixed plant, including crushers, conveyors, screens, chutes, structural, mills, magnetic separators and pumps.
 
What You Will Be Doing

• Assisting qualified tradespeople to carry out allocated tasks
• General tooling and fitting support
• Daily housekeeping in the immediate work area
• Additional ad hoc duties as directed

What We Are Looking For
Essential:

• Working at Heights (within 5 years)
• Confined Space (within 5 years)
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) High Risk Work Licence
• Valid full Australian driver's licence
• Previous mechanical or workshop experience, comfortable with hand and power tools
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised
• Willingness to be clean-shaven for mask fit compliance

Desirable:

• First Aid / CPR
• Forklift (LF) High Risk Work Licence
• Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
• Previous FIFO or remote mining/construction experience
