Aquarium Industries is seeking a passionate and talented person to fill the role of Aquarium Dispatch Team Leader and join our operations team in Epping, Victoria.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong attention to detail, a commitment to animal welfare, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive team leader who can motivate staff, maintain high quality standards, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Reporting performance to the General Manager, this role is a key position within the operations team.
Work a 4.5 day week where your weekend starts at lunch time every Friday
What you'll be doing
Lead and supervise the fish-catching and packing team
Coordinate daily workloads, staffing and operational priorities
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and dispatched on time
Verify correct species, quantities and packing requirements before shipment
Monitor team performance, productivity and quality outcomes
Minimise packing errors, losses and customer claims
Train, coach and develop team members
Ensure compliance with company procedures, workplace safety and company standards
Work closely with the Care Team to maintain smooth operational flow
Report team performance and operational outcomes to the General Manager
What we're looking for

Passionate about animal welfare and responsible livestock handling
A strong communicator who can motivate, coach and develop others
Focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
You will also have:
Experience leading or supervising a team in a production, warehouse, logistics, agricultural, aquatics or related environment
Experience with aquarium fish, aquatic livestock or animal care is desirable but not essential
The physical capability to work in a warm environment and safely lift up to 20kg
