Response Building Group is a growing construction company based in Murray Bridge, specialising in commercial facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and safety upgrades. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our team. Working closely with our senior Estimators and Project Managers, this role combines office-based project coordination with site inspections and supervision when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and cost estimates for commercial maintenance and construction projects

• Manage tender preparation, submissions, and follow-up activities

• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and project scoping

• Coordinate and supervise works where required

• Complete material take-offs and procurement activities

• Provide technical advice and assist with project problem-solving

• Maintain accurate project records, update client portals, and prepare project schedules

• Manage project delivery, including variations, defects, manuals, and handover documentation

• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders

• Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, specifications, and WHS requirements

About You

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade

• Supervisor's Licence highly regarded

• Current National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence

• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and Australian building standards

• Proven experience in estimating, project coordination, or project management within the construction industry

• Ability to prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and scopes of work

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Experience using estimating, construction, or project management software

• Self-motivated, safety-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
