Patient Support - Medicinal Cannabis Clinic (Dispensary Team)

About the role

This is an on-site, phone-based role that plays a pivotal part in the patient experience. You will be responsible for ensuring each patient's journey is smooth and streamlined within what can often be a complex industry. Through clear communication, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills, you will provide support and guidance, helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.

Two positions available - Melbourne CBD and Melbourne’s south-east suburbs.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering a high-quality, patient-focused experience across all interactions

• Supporting patients via phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Troubleshooting patient issues and complaints with empathy and effective problem-solving

• Guiding patients through Doctor Canna processes, operations, and industry requirements

• Processing medication orders from patients through to pharmacy dispatch

• Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring all necessary notes and logs are completed

• Escalating clinical or operational queries to the appropriate team leads

• Liaising with doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to ensure seamless patient care

• Assisting in maintaining compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations

About you

• Previous experience in healthcare, telehealth, or patient support

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work

• Solid computer skills and confidence navigating multiple systems

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care
