Trade Assistant – Remedial & Maintenance Building

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated Trade Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their work and is looking to develop their skills within the construction industry. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors across a variety of remedial building and maintenance projects.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with day-to-day construction works

• General labouring and site preparation

• Demolition, strip-outs and removal of building materials

• Assisting with concrete, waterproofing, rendering and general building works

• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment

• Using hand and power tools

• Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas

• Following site safety requirements and company procedures

• Assisting trades to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard

• Safety conscious and committed to quality workmanship

• Professional and respectful when working around clients and residents

• Previous construction experience is required

• A current driver's licence is required

• A current white card is required
