Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and take ownership of planning, executing, and delivering capital projects across our operations. Based in our Perth office, you will stay closely connected to project outcomes through regular site visits and engagement with operational team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project programs, schedules, and systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with project objectives
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and scopes of work, ensuring effective resource and cost management
Provide engineering support by reviewing technical deliverables, solving complex issues, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
Conduct regular site visits to support project execution and ensure technical requirements are delivered effectively in the field
Build strong working relationships with project managers, engineers, superintendents, contractors, and other stakeholders to support successful project outcomes
Analyse project performance, including progress, costs, and deviations, and prepare clear reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders
About You
You’re an experienced Project Engineer who thrives in fast‑moving environments, confidently navigating complex challenges with a strong mix of technical expertise, practical knowledge, and a relentless drive for continuous improvement.
You will come with:
A postgraduate degree in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within mining or remote operations
Working knowledge of SQL databases and business software like Aconex and INX
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Office 365, Pronto, and CAD/modelling software.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and project documentation.
Current WA “C” Class driver’s licence and Construction White Card
