MR Delivery Driver and Yard Person

About the business and the role

Our growing business is looking for a responsible person to deliver products to our loyal customers.  You will require a current MR License and License to Perform High Risk Work - Forklift.  The primary job involves delivering products to customers throughout Perth, forklift loading/unloading, managing delivery paperwork, and supporting warehouse operations between delivery runs.

The ideal candidate will be be available to work Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm.  The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and comfortable working independently making deliveries. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail in a fast paced environment.

Animal Health Solutions is a leading wholesaler to the pet and equine industry throughout Western Australia. Based in Canning Vale, the successful applicant will join an experienced team that is experiencing strong growth in sales.

Job tasks and responsibilities

 The primary job tasks and responsibilities include:

• Loading, delivery and unloading of stock via forklift and a small amount of hand unload

• Receiving and dispatching goods

• Collation of run sheets and proof of delivery paperwork

• Other general yard duties when not delivering

You will have the opportunity to directly impact customer satisfaction by managing these tasks in an accurate and efficient manner.

Skills and experience

The skills and experiences that the successful applicant will need to display include:

• Current MR License

• Current License to Perform High Risk Work - Forklift

• Able to build friendly relationships with customers, service providers and fellow team members

• Be fit, strong and in good health

• Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse/delivery environment
