Technician - Field Service Electrical

Based out of our Wetherill Park branch in Greater Western Sydney, NSW, you will complete preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer sites.

You Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways

Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and toolsEscalates unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or SupervisorPerforms preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the fieldCompletes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screensCompletes training in line with skill and business requirementsMaintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operationTrain electrical apprentices in and out of the branch.Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the branch and delegate workload.Understand relevant electrical certification required in countryEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislationComplete in workshop repairs as requiredEngages with customer in a courteous and professional manner.Ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs

Full Time / 38 hours per weekCompetitive Hourly RateOvertime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hoursAll your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and launderedLocal Valid Drivers License is required You must be trade certified to work in NSW.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Trade Qualified ElectricalA Grade Electrical LicenseBasic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation productsHigh Voltage / Low Voltage Experience preferredExperience in servicing and maintenance of standby and prime power generatorsExperience in commercial / industrial electrical works
