The role...

Located alongside The Pat GC, The Pat GC Bar & Eatery is set to become a vibrant destination for golfers, locals and visitors seeking great food, genuine hospitality and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. We're looking for a passionate Chef to help bring this exciting new venue to life.

 To lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of The Pat GC Bar & Eatery Kitchen, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

This is a hands-on role where you will participate in the day-to-day operations of The Pat GC Bar & Eatery Kitchen including:

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present food in accordance with approved menus and quality standards.
• Manage food ordering, stock control, stock rotation, and monthly stocktakes to minimise waste and control costs.
• Develop and cost menus in consultation with the Food, Beverage and Housekeeping Manager.
• Lead, train, and support kitchen staff to foster a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
• Provide hands on assistance at functions and  events when required.

You are...

Passionate about providing outstanding customer experience, inspiring a great team and providing a positive fun work environment.  The successful candidate will have:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
• The availability to work weekends and evenings across all 7 days,
• Customer service experience within a hospitality environment,
• A proven ability to lead, train, motivate and manage a team,
• Strong working knowledge or WHS and food safety and hygiene,
• Ability to use computers and point of sale (POS) systems, and
• High levels of personal presentation, organisation and communication skills.
