About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Service Delivery to join our leadership team and provide oversight and leadership across our service delivery functions. This is an opportunity for a confident, people-focused leader who enjoys working in a complex environment, supporting managers to succeed, and ensuring our services are delivering strong outcomes for children, young people, families and communities.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting Program Managers across service delivery.
• Providing clear operational oversight and accountability.
• Monitoring service performance, quality, risk and compliance.
• Supporting workforce capability and effective people management.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and service outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with staff, stakeholders and communities.
• Contributing to organisational & cultural practice planning, strategy and service development.

About You

You are an experienced senior leader who can balance strategic thinking with practical operational leadership. You will bring strong people leadership, sound judgement, child protection knowledge and the confidence to have the conversations that matter. You know how to support managers while also maintaining clear expectations, accountability and service standards.

Essential selection criteria

1. Bachelor degree in Human Services or similar field with at least 5 years’ experience;
2. Experience managing staff and financial resources to facilitate effective and timely delivery of core services to meet organisational and community expectations.
3. Developing and maintaining productive and enduring partnerships with government, non-government, community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders;
4. This role requires the successful candidate to have a strong focus on community engagement and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to ensure you are effectively establishing relationships.
5. Experience in managing operational activities in line with strategic objectives and achieving results through productive working relationships and effective staff leadership

Requirements

• A Blue Card for working with children ('No Card No Start' policy applies)
• National police check
• Current drivers' license (minimum Ps)
• LCS2 clearance withing 3 months of commencing employment (this is a risk-assessed role under the Child Protection Act 1999) 
• *IDENTIFIED POSITION - To perform this role it is essential that the person who holds the position be an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that applicants are Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders. A Confirmation of Aboriginality will need to be provided.
