Join the Child and Family Health team in Inverell and play a vital role in supporting children and families across Inverell, Ashford, Tingha, Bundarra and Delungra.
Working alongside experienced nurses and a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll help promote healthy growth and development, strong parent–child relationships and positive health outcomes for children aged 0–5 years.
About The Role
As a Child and Family Health Registered Nurse, you’ll provide family-centred care through home visits and community clinics. You’ll help children get the best start in life through early intervention, health promotion, education and personalised support.
You’ll Have The Opportunity To
Provide home and centre-based visits for children aged 0–5 years.Deliver immunisations and promote healthy lifestyles.Assess growth, development and wellbeing.Educate and support parents with practical guidance.Identify health and developmental needs and provide appropriate referrals.Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals.Travel across the local community to provide accessible family-centred care.

About You
You’re a warm, organised and compassionate Registered Nurse who enjoys building trusted relationships with children and families.
You’ll Bring
Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.Postgraduate Certificate in Child and Family Health – essential.Immunisation qualification, or willingness to complete one.Family Partnership training, or willingness to undertake it.Current driver licence and willingness to travel.Strong assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.A genuine passion for supporting children and families to thrive.
