Job Description

The Infrastructure directorate is responsible for the development, operation and continuous improvement of the RIA Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and associated asset data environments.

The Asset Systems Coordinator plays a key role in administering and optimising the EAMS and related platforms and is responsible for maintaining asset information and system workflows in line with industry best practice.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following essential criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total. Desirable criteria will be assessed as required.

Essential

1. Conceptual and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in implementing or managing asset management IT systems including maintenance management, mobility and the collection, analysis and reporting of asset information.
2. Developed knowledge and skills in the use of Geographic Information Systems and CAD products such as Smallworld GIS, ArcGIS, MicroStation, Autocad or similar.
3. Detailed knowledge in the development and operation an of Enterprise Asset Management System (similar to Assetic Cloud and Predictor Platforms).
4. Well-developed administrative, problem solving, time management and organisational skills.
5. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to provide on-the-job training of asset management systems to a range of key stakeholders.
6. Applies and promotes the principles of equity, diversity and work health and safety in the workplace.

Desirable

1. Knowledge of asset classes commonly found in local government and utilities providers.
2. Qualifications in Geographic Information Systems, Engineering or Asset Management.
