Senior Project Manager

Role DescriptionPappsPM is seeking to onboard Senior Project Managers for full-time, on-site roles located in Canberra. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery and governance of complex Government and Department of Defence projects.
The role requires providing strategic direction, project leadership and expert management of scope, schedule, cost, risk and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, ensuring project outcomes are delivered in alignment with organisational and client objectives while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.'Mandatory RequirementsAustralian citizenshipAGSVA Security ClearanceAbility to work onsite at secure facilities in the ACT
QualificationsProven experience delivering complex projects within the Australian Government and/or Department of Defence environments.Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) and governance frameworks.Strong ability to manage large-scale, high-risk, or multi-disciplinary projects effectively.Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills, including engagement with senior ADF, APS and Industry executives.Highly developed analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AIPM accreditation) or equivalent experience.
