The Opportunity 

We are looking for a Customer Experience Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, learning new skills, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. 

You'll receive comprehensive training across our premium appliance range and work alongside experienced technicians who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. Through a combination of structured learning, technical training, and practical experience, you'll develop the skills needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain our products to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing 

As a Customer Experience Technician, you'll be the face of Fisher & Paykel in customers' homes, combining technical expertise with exceptional service to create positive customer experiences. 

You will: 

• Deliver exceptional in-home service experiences, representing the Fisher & Paykel brand with professionalism, expertise, and a customer-first mindset. 

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test premium appliances, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality outcomes for customers. 

• Assess product performance, identify the most effective repair solution, and clearly communicate recommendations and next steps to customers. 

• Maintain and manage van stock of spare parts inventory to maximise efficiency and first-time fix rates. 

• Complete service documentation, quotations, and job records accurately, while adhering to company policies and safety standards. 

• Complete service documentation, customer records, quotations, and reports accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards. 

• Continuously develop your technical expertise through training, product knowledge, and collaboration with colleagues to deliver best-in-class customer outcomes 

What We're Looking For 

We're interested in people who are motivated to learn and committed to delivering exceptional service. You'll bring: 

• Previous experience in appliance repair, fault-finding and troubleshooting, ideally within domestic appliances, whiteware, electronics, or a related technical trade. 

• The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation. 

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and provide effective long-term solutions. 

• A customer-first mindset with a professional approach and excellent communication skills. 

• Strong written communication skills and confidence using digital service systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology. 

• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously. 

• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement. 

• A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer locations as . 

• Experience servicing premium appliances or Fisher & Paykel products will be highly regarded. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Electrical, Electronics, Appliance Service, Refrigeration, or related Trade Qualification. 

• Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect endorsement) or equivalent electrical authorisation preferred. 

• Licensed Electrical Service Technician or Registered Electrical Service Technician experience highly regarded.
