Brillare Electrical is expanding its HVAC and refrigeration division and is seeking an experienced, fully qualified HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. We have a strong pipeline of secured aged care, commercial and residential maintenance contracts across Perth, providing long-term stability, consistent hours and varied technical work. This position is for a qualified and licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician. Applicants must hold a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence. Apprentices, trade assistants and applicants currently completing their HVAC apprenticeship will not be considered.

About the Role

You will manage your jobs from start to finish, including diagnostics, repairs, servicing and installations across a broad range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Your work will include:

• HVAC fault finding, diagnostics and repairs

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Breakdown and reactive maintenance

• Split and ducted air conditioning systems

• Evaporative air conditioning

• Cassette and commercial HVAC systems

• Coolrooms and commercial refrigeration equipment

• Refrigeration fault finding and component replacement

• Installation and replacement of HVAC equipment

• Completing accurate job notes and service documentation

• Communicating professionally with clients and our office team

Refrigeration / Coolroom Experience Highly Regarded

We are particularly interested in technicians with strong experience in commercial refrigeration and coolroom fault finding and repairs. If you're the person who gets called when the coolroom goes down and nobody else can work out why, we want to hear from you. Experience diagnosing refrigeration faults, compressors, evaporators, condenser units, controls, fan motors and associated equipment will be highly regarded.

Already qualified in HVAC/Refrigeration but want to add an electrical trade? For the right candidate, Brillare can provide a supported pathway into an Electrical Adult Apprenticeship, allowing you to work towards becoming a dual-trade HVAC/Refrigeration Technician and Electrician. This pathway is completely optional. You do not need to be electrically qualified to apply. Our priority is finding a qualified HVAC/Refrigeration Technician. The electrical pathway is an additional career opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their technical capability and future earning potential.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Current WA Driver's Licence

• Strong HVAC fault-finding and diagnostic capability

• Ability to work independently and manage jobs from start to finish
