Love cooking, but over nights? This could be the role you've been looking for.

Hissy Fits is one of Tamworth's busiest independent cafés, known for quality food, great coffee and a team-first culture. We're looking for an experienced Cook or Chef to join our kitchen full-time.

This is a daytime-only position with no late nights, giving you the opportunity to build a hospitality career while still enjoying your evenings.

We're ideally looking for a Qualified Chef, but we'd also love to hear from:

• Demi Chefs

• Passionate 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Chefs

• Experienced cooks looking to step up

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking café breakfast and lunch service

• Maintaining high food quality and presentation

• Working efficiently during busy services

• Assisting with stock control and kitchen organisation

• Following food safety and hygiene standards

• Contributing ideas and helping improve our menu

About you

You'll be someone who:

• Has commercial kitchen experience

• Holds chef qualifications (or currently completing them) - Preferred, but not essential

• Takes pride in producing consistently great food

• Works well under pressure

• Is reliable and turns up ready to work

• Communicates well with the team

• Wants to be part of a positive workplace culture

• Has a genuine passion for hospitality
