Stock controller

LEMAK is looking for an organised and reliable Stock Controller to join our growing team and help manage inventory across our Brisbane locations.

The Role

You will be responsible for keeping our stores stocked, organised and operating efficiently.

Key duties include:

• Managing and monitoring stock levels
• Completing regular stocktakes
• Ordering from approved suppliers
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Checking invoices, shortages and supplier credits
• Maintaining FIFO stock rotation
• Monitoring expiry dates and reducing wastage
• Coordinating stock transfers between LEMAK locations
• Investigating stock discrepancies
• Communicating with store managers, kitchen teams and suppliers
• Helping control purchasing and inventory costs

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Highly organised and detail-focused
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Confident working with numbers and stock records
• Proactive rather than waiting for stock to run out
• Comfortable dealing with suppliers
• Good at communicating with managers and kitchen teams
• Able to identify problems and follow them through to resolution
• Experienced in hospitality, inventory, purchasing or stock control

Previous restaurant or hospitality stock-control experience would be highly regarded.

We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of our stock-control function and grow with the business.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $75,000.00 per year
