HSE Advisor

MPS Group is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team based at Olympic Dam.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry environments who is passionate about fostering a strong safety culture.

 Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Strong understanding of state and national WHS legislation
• Proficient use of Microsoft systems
• ICAM investigation experience (desirable)
• BHP Olympic Dam site experience (desirable)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and systems
• Proactively engage with workgroups through consultation, meetings, and toolbox talks
• Coach and support field leadership to enhance a positive safety leadership culture
• Maintain HSE records and assist with legislative audits as required
• Manage HSE reporting and compliance requirements
• Conduct field inspections, hazard reporting, and critical control verifications
• Participate in and facilitate risk assessments, workshops, and emergency response drills
• Assist with incident and hazard reporting and investigations
• Provide guidance and advice to employees and management on HSE matters

This role operates on an 8/6 roster and is open to FIFO (ex-Adelaide), DIDO, or local candidates.
