Automotive Technician

Dominelli Ford & GWM is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join our successful Service Team at our state of the art dealership in Kirrawee.

Permanent Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (38 hours per week), with regular overtime opportunities available.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, plus superannuation and overtime, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Performing service, repair and maintenance work on a range of new and used vehicles.

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and rectifying mechanical and electronic faults.

• Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

• Conducting road tests and final quality checks prior to vehicle delivery.

• Recommending additional repairs and maintenance where required.

• Providing guidance and support to apprentice technicians.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification (unless currently completing an apprenticeship)

• Broad dealership knowledge and automotive experience

• At least 3.5 years experience in the trade (unless an Apprentice)

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

• The ability to work effectively within a team environment

• A current NSW Manual Drivers Licence and a sound driving record
