Arts and Customer Service Officer Tresillian

We’re seeking a friendly, proactive and customer-focused team member to support our arts programs, exhibitions, tutors, students, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, people-centred role where every day brings something a bit different.

You’ll be:

• Welcoming visitors and responding to customer queries with warmth and professionalism.
• Assisting students with course information and enrolments — in person and online.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting room hire bookings and ensuring spaces are organised, tidy and ready for use.
• Assisting the curatorial team with exhibitions at the Centre.
• Updating online class information, mailing lists and stationery supplies.
• Producing simple social media content to promote classes, exhibitions and events.
• Supporting the daily set-up and closing of the Centre.
• Providing general administrative support to the Tresillian Arts Centre Coordinator.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong customer service and administration skills.
• Confident using Word, Excel, electronic document systems and online booking platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.
• Knowledge and practical experience with curating and hanging artworks.
• Good problem-solving skills and a calm, helpful approach.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service role.
• Demonstrated experience curating and hanging art exhibitions.

Qualifications & Licences

• Current National Police Clearance.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical

• A cash salary of $74,478 - $82,317 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
