Linehaul Allocator

Are you a highly organised and proactive logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Linehaul Allocator to take ownership of scheduling and dispatching our fleet, ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time across the country.

This is a key operational role requiring strong leadership, structured decision making, and the ability to build trusted relationships. You will bring a quality focused mindset, a hands-on approach, and a solid understanding of transport operations and compliance to ensure seamless daily execution.

What You Will Do

• Work rotating shifts supporting both AM and PM allocation teams

• Manage the linehaul fleet, including subcontractors, to ensure service levels and customer commitments are consistently met

• Schedule, allocate, and monitor linehaul runs to ensure efficient pickups and deliveries

• Plan and forecast resources to maximise fleet utilisation and improve customer outcomes

• Build strong relationships with internal teams, drivers, and external stakeholders, maintaining clear pick up and delivery requirements

• Lead and support drivers, ensuring compliance with fatigue management, company policies, and operational procedures

• Promote and maintain compliance with transport legislation, safety standards, and best practice

What You Will Bring

• Experience in transport and logistics, ideally within linehaul operations

• Strong geographical knowledge with the ability to optimise routes and resources

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast paced, time critical environment

• Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office

• A strong understanding of transport regulations and operational requirements
