Batch Plant Operator

Hy-Tec are seeking a Concrete Batcher to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately combining and dispensing premix materials, ready for delivery by our Agitator Truck Drivers.

Based in Dapto and reporting to the Plant Manager, this full-time, permanent, day-shift role requires a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and effective time management.

In addition to leveraging your existing skills, you will receive comprehensive training, expand your expertise, and gain exposure to the construction materials industry. We offer an attractive hourly rate and real opportunities to grow within the business.

Responsibilities

• Materials handling and ordering
• Basic plant maintenance including contractor management.
• Operation of plant including a Front-End Loader
• Operation of the computerized batching plants
• Maintaining housekeeping/cleaning standards
• Administration tasks as required

What you will need to succeed

• Committed and compliant to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
• Comfortable in working in a busy and demanding work environment
• Competency in operating a front-end loader (highly desirable)
• Self-driven with high work ethic and good team member
• Positive and motivated attitude
• Experience in concrete (highly regarded)
