About the role
If you have an interest in working within the justice system and working in the South West of Western Australia, we have an exciting opportunity for you to consider as the Clerk of the Court Narrogin.
The Clerk of the Court is responsible for assisting with the effective management of the non-judicial functions of the Court and presides over a range of judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings. The position also provides support to the judiciary in the effective case management of court sittings.

Suitability Requirements
Through the recruitment process, we will be looking for a candidate who can demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to the following:

Contributes to planning activities, anticipates potential issues, and develops practical solutions to meet business objectives.

Actively contributes to team success through information sharing, respectful engagement, valuing diverse perspectives, and responding positively to feedback.
Achieve Results - Demonstrates the ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and achieve agreed outcomes. Shows initiative in developing knowledge and skills, adapts to changing priorities, and maintains a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-focused results.
Integrity and Professional Conduct - Demonstrates honesty, accountability and sound ethical judgement in all aspects of their work. Takes responsibility for actions and decisions, values accuracy in information and advice, learns from mistakes, and seeks guidance when required to ensure appropriate outcomes.
Practical experience in the operation of court practices and procedures.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered at Narrogin Courthouse during this period.
