Handyman

About the role

Edge Industries Construction & Maintenance is a growing commercial construction firm based in Brisbane servicing the whole of Queensland. We are seeking an all rounder Handyman who is multi-skilled in commercial construction work who can work autonomously or under the guidance of a commercial builder.

Key responsibilities

• Trade assistant to commercial builder

• Service maintenance on commercial buildings

• Hanging doors, repairing frames, decking, shelving, repairs and installs, painting, and patching

• Reactive maintenance in commercial buildings

• Servicing from Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast with possible regional work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About you

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

• Current manual driver's licence

• Construction OHS white card

• MR licence (desirable)

• Excavator licence (desirable)

• Full Australian work rights

• Well presented

• Great people skills especially when dealing with clients

• Motivated, can do attitude, and takes pride in their work

• Great work ethics
