About the role

MM Electrical Merchandising is seeking a dedicated and organised Storeperson to join our warehouse operations team. This is a full-time position based in Balcatta, WA 6021. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organisation of our warehouse stock, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely order fulfilment. As a Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting our distribution operations and maintaining the smooth flow of products through our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming stock and shipments to ensure accuracy and quality standards

• Organising and storing merchandise in the warehouse using appropriate storage methods and labelling systems

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to identify discrepancies

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly identified and packaged

• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Assisting with stock rotation and implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures

• Liaising with other team members and departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations

• Following all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and security measures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment

• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items regularly

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a safety-conscious approach to work

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is advantageous

• Reliability and commitment to punctuality
