Project Engineer - Residential & Commercial Building

Our client is a renowned privately owned Australian Contractor, with a track record spanning more than forty years delivering bespoke construction projects ranging from $40M to $150M+. Recognised in the market for their multi-award-winning projects, attention to detail, and strong industry reputation, they have experienced sustained growth over the past two years through repeat business and exceptional project delivery.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking several experienced Project / Senior Project Engineers with broad expertise across all trade packages – Structures, Finishes / Fitou, Façade, Civil and Services. These professionals will work closely with Project Managers and Commercial Managers to assist in overseeing and delivering newly awarded projects across Sydney’s Inner West, West, South, CBD, East, and North. Projects will range from $50M to $100M and will include:

• Commercial new build projects such as Education projects, Hospitals, Hotels, Retail Precincts, Sports and Leisure precincts, Data Centres and Office Blocks

• Luxury, medium & high-density residential developments

• Mixed-use residential & commercial projects

Several Key Requirements of these opportunities are:

• Minimum five years of post-graduate experience as a Site Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Project Engineer

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Building & Construction (Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma)

• Experience in residential, commercial, or major structural refurbishment projects

• Expertise in contract administration, procurement, trade letting, cost planning, programming, and scheduling

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage site-based teams, liaise with clients, and oversee subcontractors
