We’re locking in high-calibre Boilermakers for ongoing FIFO work across major mining projects. If you know your way around heavy gear and take pride in your work apply now.
Based in Clermont, QLD, Gregory Fabrications provides high-quality welding and fabrication services to Central Queensland's mining and agricultural sectors. Our reputation is built on quality, reliable, and flexible solutions that keep operations running and downtime to a minimum. We’re a hands-on, close-knit team with real world experience and a straight-up approach.
THE ROLE:
You’ll be working on large-scale mining equipment, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds on Liebherr & Hitachi excavators. Expect a mix of:
Structural repairs & crack remediation.
Bucket and component rebuilds.
Shutdown and field maintenance work.
Workshop & site-based tasks.
Mobile plant repairs.
This is a hands-on role where your skills and trade knowledge will be utilised and acknowledged.
WHAT’S ON OFFER:
14 Days On / 7 Days Off roster
$68 – $77 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time, ongoing work with a solid pipeline
Half the cost of Flights covered from Brisbane
Work across reputable tier-one mining operations
Super on all hours
Work vehicle onsite
Accommodation supplied for rostered days on
Current or previous site inductions for:
Bravus
Glencore
Anglo American
Desirable Training:
Working at Heights (WAH)
Confined Space
EWP
Forklift
Tele-handler
Gas test atmosphere
Coal Board Medical
S11
Trade qualified Boilermaker CERT III minimum
Proven experience on Liebherr & Hitachi excavators (non-negotiable)
Strong safety mindset
Team mindset
Ability to pass medical & D&A screening
Pass mandatory plate test
Commitment to quality workmanship
High performance
