Senior Structural Engineer

The Senior Structural Engineer works with the Engineering team and provides technical support and guidance to the Project Manager and Construction Manager whilst gaining knowledge and experience in all aspects of the Interquip operations and learn the relevant policies and procedures.

This position is West Perth based, but some site travel is required.

Role Responsibilities:

·           Supervision of structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.

·           Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.

·           Investigate, assess, and resolve engineering problems.

·           Analysis, development, and composition of technical documents.

·           Structural and civil design.

·           Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.

·           Proposing and analysing improvements to designs and to procedures.

·           Review drawings to confirm compliance with design.

Role Requirements:

·           Degree in civil or structural engineering.

·           Preference is for a candidate with 6+ years of experience in the structural or civil engineering field. 

·           Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations. 

·           Previous experience in the mining and construction industry.

·           Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.

·           High experience using SpaceGass and AutoCad.
