Accounts and Payroll Officer

Reliable Disability Services is a growing business operating in Perth WA. This is a permanent part time role. 

We are looking for an experienced accounts and payroll officer to join our growing team. 

Our accounting processes are supported by integrated payroll, accounting, and client resources management software. 

Working with our team on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for: 

• Entering and processing of supplier and customer invoices

• Maintain employee files including payroll and employee related data.

• Preparation of payroll tax, superannuation, and other statutory returns.

• Attend to payroll related queries from employees, insurance companies and management as required

• End of month reconciliations of management accounts.

• Maintaining supplier and customer details including address, bank account details, insurances, etc.

• Adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Processing invoices, acquittals, payments, and wages.

• Accessing and updating funder portals

• Maintaining and completing human resources documentation. 

To be successful you will have:

• Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting 

• At least 2 years previous experience in a payroll and accounts environment

• Familiar with NDIS claiming and invoicing via PRODA

• Experience using Xero.

• Payroll experience (essential)

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Well organized and able to multi-task

• Strong work ethic and high personal standards

• Ability to think, problem solve and think outside the box

• Ability to be an effective team member who works in collaboration with colleagues and customers
