About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer with Accounts Receivable experience to join our Finance Services team.

Working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team of accounting and finance professionals, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient accounts receivable services while contributing to the overall financial operations of the organisation.

This position supports the delivery of high-quality financial services and contributes to the ongoing improvement of financial processes, systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Delivering Accounts Receivable functions efficiently and accurately.
• Building collaborative working relationships with Finance team members, IPC Health staff and external customers.
• Supporting the Accounts Payable function as required.
• Assisting with financial accounting activities and internal and external audit requirements.
• Contributing to finance-related process improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Supporting efficient financial operations that contribute to organisational performance and accountability.

About You

To Succeed, You Will Need

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong accounts receivable and reconciliation skills.
• Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills.
• High level attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Desirable

• Experience within a community health, not-for-profit or public sector environment.
• Experience supporting Accounts Payable and broader finance functions.
• Knowledge of financial compliance and audit processes.
