We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic. This role requires flexibility with rostering, strong billing accuracy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and acknowledging patients promptly and warmly

• Managing appointment bookings, recalls and waitlists

• Conducting 3-point patient identification checks (Name, DOB, Address)

• Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records

• Processing Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private billings

• Explaining fees, rebates and gap payments clearly

• Managing phone and online enquiries professionally

• Scanning, correspondence allocation and general administrative tasks

• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional reception area

About You

• Previous medical reception experience (essential)

• Best Practice PMS experience highly desirable

• Strong customer service skills with a calm, friendly manner

• Some understanding of Medicare and billing processes

• High attention to detail (low error rate in billing/data entry)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, accountable and flexible with shifts (including evenings/Saturdays)
