Interior Documenter

DKO is a leading design practice with studios across Australia and New Zealand. Our collaborative approach brings together architecture, interiors, landscape architecture and urban design to create innovative and meaningful places.

We are currently seeking a talented Interior Documenter to join our Interiors team in Collingwood, Melbourne.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of project delivery and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality documentation. Working closely with our Interior Design team, you will help develop and deliver coordinated design and documentation packages across a range of projects and project phases.

As an Interior Documenter, you will:

• Work closely with the design team to develop comprehensive design and documentation packages

• Contribute across all project stages, from concept through to construction

• Prepare detailed documentation, construction details and contract packages

• Coordinate consultant documentation and assist with project coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities as required

• Assist with space planning, detailing and technical problem solving

• Ensure projects comply with relevant codes, standards and industry requirements

• Support the successful delivery of projects through strong communication and collaboration

• Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent experience

• Experience producing detailed documentation packages and construction drawings

• Strong understanding of buildability, detailing and project delivery

• Ability to coordinate consultant information and documentation

• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills

• Solutions-focused with strong attention to detail

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Passion for design excellence and delivering high-quality outcomes

• ArchiCAD proficiency preferred but not essential

• Work from our Collingwood studio alongside a talented and collaborative interiors team
