Rig Hand

Pipeline Drillers Group is one of Australia’s leading Horizontal Directional Drilling design and construction service providers with over 26 years’ experience.  We are currently seeking experienced Rig Hands for opportunities within our growing team.  

The head office is based in Brisbane however requires a high level of travel throughout Australia to directional drilling job sites.  The role encompasses: 

• Operating machinery including heavy vehicles 

• Assisting horizontal directional drilling and civil activities  

• Basic maintenance and prestart inspections 

• Operating cleaning systems and pumps 

This role operates under our EBA, with defined rosters, a set hourly rate and significant opportunity for overtime earnings. 

Candidates with the following are strongly encouraged to apply: 

• Truck license

• Excavator ticket

• High Risk Work licence (Dogman/Rigger)

• High Risk Work licence (Vehicle Loading Crane)
