Our client is a values-driven organisation looking for an Occupational Therapist who wants to deliver great clinical work while being part of a team that actually supports them to do it.

The Role You'll work with participants to understand what matters to them, identify barriers to independence and develop practical strategies that make everyday life easier, safer and more fulfilling.

Depending on your experience and caseload, your work may include:

• Completing functional capacity assessments
• Assessing participants' daily living skills and support needs
• Developing individualised therapy plans
• Assistive technology assessments and recommendations
• Home and environmental assessments
• Supporting participants to build independence and capacity
• Working with families, carers and support teams
• Preparing high-quality clinical reports and recommendations
• Collaborating with other allied health professionals
• Liaising with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers and other stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and professional standards

But underneath all of that is something fairly simple.

You're helping people do more of the things that matter to them.

Every sustainable allied health organisation needs them.

But there's a difference between having sensible expectations and having someone stare at your billables every Friday afternoon like they're checking the Lotto numbers.

Who We're Looking For You'll need:

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Working with Children Check where required
• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while still being part of a collaborative team
• Good clinical reasoning and documentation skills

NDIS experience is highly regarded.
But we're interested in the person behind the CV too.

We're looking for an OT who asks questions.

Someone who listens before recommending.
Someone who understands that two people with exactly the same diagnosis can have completely different lives, goals and support needs.

What We're Really Looking For Clinical skills can be developed.

Systems can be taught.
Processes can be learned.

But empathy, curiosity and genuinely wanting a good outcome for the person sitting across from you are much harder to put into a training manual.

We're looking for someone who values:

People over numbers.
Outcomes over shortcuts.
Collaboration over egos.
Doing the right thing even when nobody is checking.

What This Isn't Let's save everyone a couple of interviews.

This isn't the right role if your idea of person-centred practice is changing the participant's name at the top of last week's report.

It isn't somewhere you should expect to be left completely unsupported.
And it isn't a role where the only measure of whether you've had a successful week is the number sitting beside "billable hours."

There are expectations.
There is accountability.
There is documentation.
There are reports.

We're not pretending those things magically disappear.

The difference is that they're there to support good clinical practice, not replace it.
