Responsible Gaming Officer

In line with the NSW Government's initiative to reduce gambling harm, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO) to join our team either part time or casual position.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Monitor gaming areas to identify patrons at risk of gambling harm or displaying concerning gambling behaviour. 

• Engage with patrons to provide information on responsible gambling practices and available support services. 

• Facilitate self-exclusion requests and assist patrons in accessing gambling support services. 

• Maintain accurate records of gambling incidents and interactions with patrons. 

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement harm minimization strategies. 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements 

Requirements: 

• Completion of the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training. 

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or gaming industry. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

• Demonstrated commitment to promoting responsible gambling practices. 

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. 

Pay & Conditions

• Pay is in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA), with all entitlements applied in accordance with Fair Work requirements.
