About the role
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
Are you looking for a role where you can create meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal communities while contributing to one of Australia's largest renewable energy projects?
The Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Implementation Officer to support the successful delivery of agreements associated with the SunCable solar generation project at Powell Creek Station in the Barkly region. As the Implementation Officer, you'll work alongside Native Title Holders, community leaders and project partners to help turn agreement commitments into real opportunities. From supporting governance and community participation to facilitating employment, training and business development outcomes, your work will help ensure lasting benefits for communities across the Barkly region.
About the Role:
You'll work closely with Native Title Holders, community representatives, industry partners and stakeholders to support the implementation of agreements associated with the SunCable solar generation project at Powell Creek Station. From supporting governance structures and facilitating engagement to identifying economic participation opportunities, you'll help ensure the agreements deliver real and lasting benefits for Aboriginal people and communities.
No two days will be the same. You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, working across communities, stakeholders and project partners to achieve positive outcomes and maintain strong relationships.
