Pre-Site Construction Coordinator

The Role

As a Pre-Site Construction Coordinator, you will guide customers through their pre-site journey, from signed building contract through to site start. Acting as a key point of contact, you will ensure project documentation is accurate and complete, provide regular updates to customers, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects progressing smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administration, stakeholder management, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer projects through the pre-site phase, from signed contract to site commencement

• Act as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates and delivering exceptional customer service

• Coordinate and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring all milestones and workflow tasks are completed on time

• Liaise with internal departments, certifiers, councils, developers, and other stakeholders to progress approvals and resolve queries

• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address roadblocks to keep projects moving forward

• Accurately record customer communications, project updates, and key information within company systems

• Manage customer enquiries and escalations professionally, delivering positive outcomes and maintaining customer satisfaction

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role including customer service, administration or project coordination

• Experience in NSW or QLD residential building is an advantage but not a requirement

• Ability to interpret and read construction plans

• Intermediate level in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook 

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written

• Customer-centric professional, with exceptional personal presentation

• Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines

• Disciplined self-starter and results-driven individual able to work autonomously with strong team collaboration skills
