About the Role
As a Child and Family Speech Pathologist (Level 1/2), you will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for children presenting with a range of communication, speech, language, and feeding difficulties. Working with a diverse paediatric caseload, you'll partner closely with children, families, carers, and other health professionals to deliver evidence-based care that supports positive developmental outcomes.

You are a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist who is committed to helping children reach their full potential. You hold a Bachelor or postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology, or equivalent, and are eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia. You have experience assessing, diagnosing and managing a varied paediatric caseload, including children with speech, language and feeding difficulties.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working alongside multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for children and families. With strong communication and conflict resolution skills, you can build positive relationships with clients, families, carers and colleagues. You are equally confident working independently and taking initiative, while also contributing to a team-focused culture that values excellence, compassion and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
In consultation with the Senior Speech Pathologist in Charge to practise and promote safe, efficient and effective paediatric Speech Pathology services that reflects current standards of Speech Pathology practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures
