About Access Coatings:
Access Coatings is an industrial protective coatings company specialising in blasting and painting services for the gas sector in Port Campbell, VIC. We are committed to delivering high-quality service while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within our team.
Role:
We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters for a gas plant project in Port Campbell, VIC. Immediate start for approx. 6 month campaign scope (September 2026 to March 2027). Overtime and accommodation/meals allowances apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting through abrasive blasting, mechanical prep, and spray painting.
Apply coatings and conduct testing to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Perform surface inspections and quality checks to ensure coatings meet industry and company standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers to meet deadlines and objectives.
Hours and Remuneration:
Casual employment with full-time hours - weekend rates and overtime applicable. Accommodation and meals allowance applies.
10 hour days Sunday – Thursday. 6 hours Friday, plus paid travel.
$55-$58 per hour (based on experience), plus overtime and allowances.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Industrial Painter/Blaster
Extensive experience working in accordance with project specifications, completing and documenting all coating stages through detailed inspection and reporting.
Project based in Port Campbell, VIC (note: this is not FIFO work, travel from Melbourne or VIC)
Confined Space and proven experience in airless and conventional spraying will be looked upon favourably
Additional certifications such as EWP, CSE/CSR, Forklift, Breathing Apparatus, Rope Access, Cert III Surface Prep, NACE Level 1 or 2 are advantageous.
