Warehouse Store Person

Days Eggs is currently recruiting a Full-Time Store Person to join our team at our Lower Light Grading and Distribution Facility.

This is not your average Store Person role. You will work closely as part of a small but essential team, supporting the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and distribution activities. This all-rounder role will involve receivals, dispatch, order picking, packing and general warehouse duties.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders;

• Loading and unloading vehicles;

• Participating in periodical stock takes;

• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks;

• Maintaining stock and inventory records;

• Assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse;

• Following all food safety, hygiene and GMP procedures and policies;

• Reporting any non-conformances to the FSQM team; and

• Completing any other duties as assigned and within your ability.

As an experienced Warehouse Store Person, you will possess:

• Exceptional attention to detail;

• A sound level of written and verbal communication;

• The ability to lift boxes up to 15kg;

• The ability to work in both chiller and dry warehouse areas;

• The confidence to speak and interact with others;

• A positive, can-do attitude; and

• The ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current Driver’s Licence;

• A current High Risk Forklift Licence, LF class;

• A National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one;

• Well-developed time management skills; and

• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

• Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence.
