Automotive Spray Painter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional vehicle spray painter who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys being part of a trustworthy, close-knit team. Key responsibilities

• Preparing vehicle panels by removing rough spots and imperfections

• Sanding vehicle surfaces manually and with power sanding equipment

• Masking areas not to be painted using protective tape and paper

• Matching and mixing paint colors to ensure accurate shade consistency, or selecting pre-mixed paints

• Applying primers and finishing coats using spray equipment and sanding surfaces between coats to achieve a smooth finish

• Performing paint touch-ups and applying polishing compounds to restore surface quality

• Removing masking materials and completing final waxing and polishing of painted surfaces

• Applying signage, decals, or artwork to vehicle surfaces where required

• Treating vehicle panels with rust-proofing chemicals to prevent corrosion

About you

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a professional vehicle painter

• Reliable communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks
