Qualified Fitter/Mechanic

We are seeking a Qualified Fitter/Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service alongside working in a team environment carrying out 10 year major inspections on plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and plant inspections, including 10 year major inspections/re-builds.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.

• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements

• Qualified Automotive Mechanic certification or equivalent trade qualification or experience.

• Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repair and/or hydraulic repairs.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full driver's licence.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Forklift Licence is advantageous.
