About the Role 

As a Production Technician you will manufacture and assemble Boresight’s existing and future UAS, from components to subassemblies to full systems. Additionally, you will complete quality assurance during all stages of production culminating in flight testing of all products to be shipped. Production involves highly repetitive tasks, technicians are required to consistently perform tasks to defined standards. This position is open to motivated candidates willing to learn new skills and be at the forefront of Australian UAS manufacturing. You MUST be and Australian Citizen to be considered for this role. 

Role Responsibilities 

• Operate and maintain 3D printers. 

• Stock and inventory management. 

• Assemble and repair of UAS and components. 

• Quality assurance testing of UAS, including flight testing. 

• Preparing UAS orders for shipment, including packaging and palletising. 

Essential Qualifications 

• Australian driver’s license 

• Hold/obtain a minimum Baseline security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) 

Desired Qualifications 

• RePL or drone flying experience 

• Experience working with hand tools 

• Experience with 3D printing

This is an on-site position located in Fyshwick, Canberra. Note that you must be able to obtain/hold an AGSVA security clearance for this position.
