Secondary Teacher - Physics and Mathematics

Commencing in January 2027, St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Teacher Physics and Mathematics. You will be joining a close-knit team of educators who excel in their chosen fields.

The role involves:

• Using your exceptional skill to deliver engaging and exacting learning experiences in physics and mathematics for secondary students
• A particular emphasis upon Senior (Years 11 and 12) education and encouraging a challenging learning environment, enabling their journey towards their potential
• Possessing a strong background in Mathematics Methods would be a distinct advantage
• Collaborating with a committed team who are driven by student wellbeing and future-focused learning

You will require:

• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Demonstrated ability to teach Physics and Mathematics at a Senior Level
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable curriculum and senior assessment requirements and expectations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as part of your classroom management strategy
• Be supportive of the wider School community including the Christian Ethos of the College
