We are seeking a proactive Electrical Project Engineer who thrives off being organised and has pronounced planning, scheduling, and estimating skills!

Based in Mackay, this role is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager playing a key role within our Project Delivery Team.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all technical and project related activities, specifically:

Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgearReview customer project scope and estimatingSchedulingCoordinate project documentationProcurement of estimated materialsSubcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturingMonitor and control project costsLiaise with customers/clients and external companies as requiredCustomer updates and reportingCoordinate, attend and when required chair project kick off or progress review meetingsUnderstanding of design processEstablish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and continued forward forecast of repeat workCommitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user

What are we looking for from you?

Project / contract management experienceSound computer skillsCompetent in MS Office applications including Microsoft ProjectDiploma in Project Management (desirable)Electrical Trade Certificate (desirable)General estimating proficiency (desirable)Strong communication and negotiation skillsStrong attention to detailTeam orientated and focusedEnergetic and positive attitude to problem solvingDesire to learn and be part of a great teamYou want to be at the forefront of innovation and solve the big problems
