About the role
Position Title: Recruitment Advisor (Communities)
Location: Perth, WA
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and organised Recruitment Advisor to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across our remote Aboriginal communities, supporting a diverse portfolio including Communities, Retail, and Land & Culture.
You will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, engage and secure quality talent who are committed to working in and supporting remote communities. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will build strong stakeholder relationships, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will play a key role in helping us build sustainable workforces that deliver essential services, support community outcomes, and make a meaningful difference across the communities we serve.
In this role, you will:
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across remote Aboriginal communities, within the Communities, Retail and Land & Culture portfolios, including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding
Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs, provide recruitment advice and develop effective attraction strategies to secure quality talent.
Develop targeted recruitment campaigns and build talent pipelines through job boards, community engagement, referrals, Indigenous employment networks and external partnerships.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, building strong relationships with candidates and supporting them through the recruitment, pre-employment and mobilisation process.
Coordinate recruitment activities for remote-based roles, including pre-employment checks, documentation, travel, and accommodation requirements in partnership with operational teams.
Support workforce planning activities, including understanding rostering requirements, staffing needs and workforce availability to ensure operational requirements are met.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, recruitment partners, community organisations and Indigenous employment providers to strengthen workforce participation and employment pathways.
Travel to remote communities when required to support recruitment activities, strengthen relationships and contribute to community-focused employment outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced and proactive recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with candidates, leaders and community stakeholders. You have a proven ability to manage multiple vacancies, prioritise competing demands and deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes.
You bring strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide practical recruitment advice and build trusted partnerships across diverse teams. You are passionate about attracting and retaining great people and creating positive candidate experiences throughout the recruitment journey.
You understand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with recruiting for remote locations and are committed to supporting Aboriginal employment pathways and community-focused workforce initiatives. You are adaptable, solutions-focused and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with operational teams to meet workforce needs.
Your background will include:
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment, preferably in a complex, regional or remote environment.
Sound understanding of recruitment legislation, compliance and best practice.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (desirable).
Experience working with Aboriginal organisations or community-focused organisations (desirable).

The Ngaanyatjarra Lands are managed by the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group (NCG), a wholly community-led organisation representing the interests of Traditional Owners (Yarnangu) across 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Western Australia.
