Project Coordinator

About the role

Cubed Building & Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our North Lakes, QLD. This is a part-time, in office position that offers the flexibility to balance work commitments with personal responsibilities. This role is Monday to Friday, and is suitable for school hours. As Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building and construction projects, providing essential administrative and operational support that keeps our projects on track and our teams organised. This role is fundamental to maintaining our high standards of project delivery and client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and maintain project documentation, including drawings and correspondence

• Assist with the preparation and submission of project reports, site safety paperwork, and other documentation

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve any issues

• Contribute to the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures

• Provide administrative support to the project management team as required

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and databases

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar project administration or coordination role, preferably within the construction industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

• Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Outlook

• Familiarity with construction-specific software and project management tools would be an advantage

• A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
