Ilonka Foods is an established Western Australian food manufacturer supplying premium sous-vide meats, meals and food solutions across, hospitality, foodservice, retail, wholesale, healthcare and aged care.

We are looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Senior Sales & Operations Coordinator to become a key link between our customers, sales activity, logistics, administration and staff.

This role would suit either:

An experienced operator - someone with solid food industry, wholesale, logistics and manufacturing experience who already understands the industry and brings useful customer or industry relationships.

Or an ambitious step-up candidate - someone with strong foundations who is ready to learn quickly, take on more responsibility and grow into a broader operations role.

The salary range is $75,000–$100,000 + super, depending on experience, capability and industry network.

What You'll Be Doing

·       Managing sales enquiries, quotes and customer follow-up

·       Maintaining an active sales pipeline

·       Coordinating samples

·       Looking after selected customer relationships

·       Supporting new-business development

·       Coordinating deliveries and drivers

·       Managing day-to-day customer service issues

·       Overseeing sales and customer administration

·       Invoicing

·       Accurate record keeping

·       Keeping pricing and product information current

·       Helping staff with day-to-day operational questions

·       Following up outstanding actions

·       Maintaining clear communication between departments

·       Present practical sales and operations reports

·       Identify more efficient ways of doing things

·       Maintains strong visibility across day-to-day operations

We're Looking for Someone Who

·       Is exceptionally organised

·       Follows things through without being chased

·       Is confident speaking with customers

·       Can manage competing priorities calmly

·       Is highly tech-savvy, confident learning and improving business and administration systems

·       Must be highly proficient across Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.

·       Is commercially aware and comfortable with numbers

·       Can coordinate people without creating unnecessary drama

·       Notices when something has been missed

·       Is happy to pick up the phone and solve a problem

·       Learns quickly and takes feedback well

·       Wants responsibility and room to grow

Experience in food manufacturing, meat, foodservice, wholesale, distribution or logistics would be highly regarded. A strong network within the WA food or foodservice industry would also be valuable.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional administration role.

You will work closely with the CEO and senior team and become a key person in the day-to-day flow of the business, someone who understands what is happening across customers, sales, logistics, systems and staff, and helps keep everything moving in the right direction.

For an experienced candidate, this is an opportunity to bring your industry knowledge, commercial judgement and established relationships into a broader, more influential role where you can have a genuine impact on how the business operates and grows.

For someone earlier in their career, it is a rare opportunity to step into a role with real exposure, responsibility and mentorship. You will have the chance to build strong commercial and operational capability, work closely with senior decision-makers and grow towards an Operations Manager or Commercial Operations position as your experience and capability develop.
